Heritage led refurbishment and extensions to combine 4 buildings on this city block site bounded by Drury Lane, Dryden Street, Arne and Shelton Street. The development will provide flexible retail, restaurant/café, and gym use at basement/ground floor and office uses above.

The buildings have a rich and varied history having once housed Watkins & Simpson Ltd, a Seed Merchant Company; Messrs Evered & Co Limited a brass and iron founders 3; and a Non-conformist chapel at 12 Dryden Street.

The design draws heavily on the building’s light industrial former uses and sensitively restores many of the original features that date from this time. New build elements are approached as deliberately contrasting with extension constructed from CLT panels.

The development is occupier focused targeting small and medium sized businesses. The development will be WELL accredited and provides communal working spaces in both the reception, atrium and via a large roof terrace.
